We Use a “Cost-Plus” Contract
Our mission is to be as transparent as possible throughout the home-building process. From timelines to finances, it’s important that we’re all on the same page.
That is why, when building out the budget for your home, we use a Cost-Plus Contract.
A cost-plus contract is a flexible agreement where the homeowner covers the actual costs of construction, including materials and labor, plus an agreed-upon fee for the builder’s management and expertise. This type of contract provides transparency throughout the building process, allowing you to make informed decisions and adjust specifications as needed to meet your unique vision and budget.

Home-Building Process FAQs
We sign a 12-month contract with homes under 4,000 sq/ft and an 18-month contract for homes over that size.
We work on a cost-plus contract, so the price varies depending on the materials of your home.
After we create the initial plans, we provide a detailed budget estimate based on the design and selected materials. This gives a close approximation, though final costs may adjust based on any additional preferences or upgrades.
With a cost-plus contract, we maintain transparency with you for all costs, including any unexpected expenses. You’ll receive regular updates to help manage your budget and make any necessary adjustments.
First, we’ll chat over the phone to see if we align with your project. Afterward, we’ll meet in person to dive deeper into the details before we sign a contract and get to work!
While we encourage finalizing most details during the planning stage, we understand adjustments may be needed. We’ll discuss any change requests to determine what’s possible within the project’s scope.
